U.S. President Trump said on the 3rd that the United States hopes that Ukraine will provide guarantees on the supply of rare earth resources in exchange for financial and military assistance from Washington. Trump reportedly told reporters in the Oval Office of the White House: "We want to make a deal with Ukraine, and I want to have a guarantee on the supply of rare earths, and Ukraine is ready to provide that guarantee."

He also emphasized that Washington requires Europe to increase aid funding to Ukraine so that it is "on par" with US investment.

He pointed out that "our aid to Ukraine is nearly $200 billion more than Europe's. They should pay at least the same amount, but in fact it should be more."

According to the report, the Trump administration had previously proposed that the conditions for Western support for Kyiv must be reviewed. He also pointed out that the contribution of European allies is completely disproportionate compared to the input of the United States.
