Apple announced that it will launch a discount subscription event for Apple Music from now until February 27, 2025. Eligible new users in the United States can get a 6-month subscription to Apple Music for $2.99 to listen to all songs.
If the Apple account you use is in the US, you can also participate in this event, but please note that you must manually cancel the subscription before it expires, otherwise it will be renewed at the standard price of $10.99.
Of course, according to Apple's practice, such discounts are only limited to new user subscriptions. If you have subscribed to Apple Music before, you are not considered a new user, so you will not see the discounts when you go to the event page.

4. If you don’t see the pop-up discount description, it may mean that you are not eligible for this event.
Here's how to unsubscribe:
1. After successful subscription, you can cancel the automatic renewal immediately. Cancellation will not affect your continued use of AppleMusic for 6 months as a member.
2. Go to iPhone settings, click the user avatar at the top, and subscribe
3. Find the AppleMusic subscription here, click on it and cancel in the menu
4. Return after canceling, and then enter the subscription again. When prompted that AppleMusic expires on a certain day, the cancellation is successful.
