Recently,The old classic compression software WinRAR has released the official version 7.10, which brings a number of features and improvements. One of the bigger improvements is support for dark mode. Users can choose to enable dark mode in "Settings/Interface", or of course, they can choose to follow Windows' color mode settings.

WinRAR7.10 no longer supports Windows Vista and 32-bit Windows systems. The minimum requirement is Windows 7x64 or higher, but the 32-bit self-extracting module is still provided as part of the 64-bit installation package.

This update also adds a "large memory page" option, which allows the use of 2MB memory pages during compression and decompression, significantly improving performance, especially when processing large files.

At the same time, the RAR compression algorithm can now utilize up to 64 logical processors, further improving the compression speed of multi-core systems.

Other improvements include optimized context menus, MarkoftheWeb data allocation for nested archives, and the ability to reduce disk write times.
