According to the latest news shared by reliable tipster Evan Blass, Lenovo is preparing to launch a ThinkBook laptop equipped with a foldable OLED screen. We already know that the company is also preparing to launch a laptop with a rollable display, but the ThinkBook Flip is designed to give customers more screen real estate -- when unfolded, of course. Still, it can be a bit tricky to imagine what a laptop with a foldable display would look like.
Basically, the Lenovo ThinkBook Flip will have an impressively tall screen that folds back in half, allowing the laptop to be used as a tablet in clamshell mode. When unfolded, the extra-tall display offers an absolutely eye-catching amount of screen real estate—but only if users are willing to stack their windows vertically.
While the design remains a point of contention ergonomically, there will clearly be plenty of workflows that can take advantage of the abundant vertical space. According to the pictures, the screen can also be partially unfolded to form a propped-up display, allowing for a sort of "tent" mode, which may come in handy during presentations or one-on-one meetings.
There isn't any information on pricing yet, but it's a safe bet that the ThinkBook Flip will likely be sold at a hefty price.
