The test speed has reached 450 kilometers per hour and the operating speed can reach 400 kilometers per hour. It is the fastest high-speed train in the world.In addition, the car also leads the world in major indicators such as operating energy consumption, interior noise, and braking distance.
According to the official introduction, there will be a series of test verification work for the CR450 in the future. The China Railway Group will arrange relevant tests with speeds below 200 kilometers per hour and above 200 kilometers per hour on circular lines and unopened high-speed rail lines, including type tests, scientific tests, etc.
After the performance verification is completed, a 600,000-kilometer assessment will be conducted, and all tests are expected to be completed within two years.
As for which line it will be used on, the matching between vehicles and lines, including some bridges, tunnels, infrastructure, and communication signals, needs to be studied.
It is reported that the CR450 EMU prototypes currently released include CR450AF and CR450BF prototypes, which are produced by CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd. and Changke Co., Ltd. respectively.
