After CAD renderings of the rumored Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 surfaced, renderings of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 have now surfaced, giving us a close look at the alleged device from all angles. According to rumors, Samsung may launch multiple foldable phones this year. In addition to Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, Samsung is also speculated to launch a three-screen foldable phone and an affordable version of Galaxy Z Flip 7, tentatively named Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
Through AndroidHeadlines and OnLeaks, we can understand the differences between this year’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. According to reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be equipped with a 3.8-inch upper cover and a 6.8-inch inner screen, which is slightly larger than the Galaxy Z Flip 6. It is rumored that the overall size of Galaxy Z Flip 7 will also increase, expected to be 166.6x75.2x6.9 mm.
Judging from the renderings, the device is similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 6. It has flat bezels and rounded corners. The inner screen retains the punch-hole camera, while the front is a folder-style cover display. The bezel and bangs may have been reduced, but the specific details are unknown.
The camera configuration is expected to remain unchanged, with a 5-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Although it is unclear which processor the Galaxy Z Flip 7 uses, Samsung is said to have begun mass production of Exynos 2500 for it. As for configuration, Galaxy Z Flip 7 will provide two options: 12GB RAM/256GB storage space and 12GB RAM/512GB storage space.
The report also adds that the price of Galaxy Z Flip 7 will remain the same as last year’s model. That said, the 12GB/256GB model starts at $1,099. This year's flip phone is also expected to have significantly fewer display creases than previous models.
