The pure electric MINI high-performance model has been mass-produced in the country and will be launched soon

On March 6, Dr. Stefan Fleck, senior vice president of the BMW Group in charge of MINI and BMW compact models, revealed at the 3rd Beam Auto Supplier Conference that the new pure electric MINI John Cooper Works and the new MINI John Cooper Works Aceman have been mass-produced at Beam Auto’s factory in Zhangjiagang and will soon be launched in China.

JohnCooperWorks is MINI's high-performance sub-brand. MINI John Cooper Works products have strong power and highly recognizable designs. Its classic red roof, racing checkered flag totem, red brake calipers, etc. are all instantly recognizable iconic elements for MINI fans. Fans often nickname these models MINI JCW models.

Two MINI JCW models were unveiled at last year's Paris Motor Show. The new electric MINICoper and its electric JCW model have also just received the highest safety rating of 5 stars in the European crash test (E-NCAP) certification, providing the highest level of safety guarantee based on pure karting driving fun.

Dr. Stefan Fleck said at this event: "2025 is the year of our MINIJCW. Following the production of the new electric MINI Cooper and MINI Aceman, the high-performance models of these two cars have been put into production in Beangguang and supplied to the global market. With the addition of electric models, the interesting, stylish and powerful MINIJCW brand will build the strongest product matrix in China's high-performance small car market segment."
