Recently, MuksRobotics, an artificial intelligence robot company in Pune, India, launched a humanoid robot called Spaceo, which is billed as "India's first humanoid robot."The robot's arms are adjustable, with an extension range of 2.4 meters, and an adjustable height of up to 2.13 meters. It has a single-arm lifting force of 5 kg, a maximum load of 200 kg, and a battery life of more than 4 hours.
MuksRobotics independently developed Muks®CoreB1 computer hardware for the Spaceo series, which consists of a neural processing unit (NPU) and general artificial intelligence (AGI). It also independently developed FusionMax multi-modal AI as the brain of the humanoid robot, integrating movement, vision, voice and language functions.
Designed for manufacturing, healthcare and education, the robot comes in three versions:
SpaceoPro is used in industrial scenarios to help perform high-precision tasks; SpaceoM1 is an autonomous intelligent social humanoid robot for teaching, research, commercial, and home services; SpaceoPrime is built for space exploration and can perform missions on planets such as Mars and the moon in the future.
However, some netizens questioned its practicality, saying that the robot relies on wheels to move and is not a true "humanoid". It will be useless if it encounters obstacles such as stairs.
