Japanese legendary "Street Fighter" player Kakeru just won the 11th Capcom Cup and pocketed $1 million. His opponent, 15-year-old Chilean prodigy Blaz, won $100,000 for second place.

The winning moment:

While several of Street Fighter's biggest names competed in Capcom Cup 11, the one who stood out the most was 15-year-old Blaz, who defeated some of the best Street Fighter 6 players in the world, some of whom were nearly three times his age (Daigo is in his 40s).

In the lower bracket semi-finals, Blaz defeated EVO champion Angry Bird 3-0. In the lower bracket finals, he defeated another Street Fighter legend Leshar 3-0. Foreign media stated that although the Chilean genius failed to defeat Kakeru in the finals, he has become the person to lead the next generation of "Street Fighter" professional players.

The Capcom Cup has the highest prize pool of all fighting games, with a whopping $1 million. However, the difference in prize money for the runner-up is very large, only US$100,000, so the finals showdown is actually a bonus battle worth US$900,000. It takes less than 15 minutes of gameplay to decide who will walk away with nearly a million dollars.
