At 12:30 on September 10, the Long March 6 modified carrier rocket ignited and took off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, successfully and accurately sending the Remote Sensing No. 40 satellite into the predetermined orbit. The "three-star rocket with one arrow" mission was a complete success. This is the 487th launch of the Long March series launch vehicle . Remote Sensing Satellite No. 40 is developed by the Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Company of the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is mainly used to carry out electromagnetic environment detection and related technology tests.
Changli is my country's first solid-liquid bundled launch vehicle. Compared with the Long March 6, the main difference is that the liquid core stage is bundled with 4 solid boosters.

In order to adapt to the one-arrow and three-star mission, the total height of the long-six rocket has increased by nearly 5.4 meters compared with the previous two rockets. At the same time, the three satellites are arranged in series, and the height of the three-star combination alone reaches 17 meters.
The last stage adopts double-start technology to increase the 1,000-kilometer orbital carrying capacity by another 1.5 tons.
The extended fairing adds internal and external transition cabins, multi-star wall-mounted adapters, multi-star stacking adapters, etc., which can flexibly adapt to subsequent launch missions of various types and multiple satellites.
The entire Arrow also adopts a large number of redundant designs to improve reliability, such as the three-bus redundant architecture of the control system, the redundant boosting of the main and secondary roads of the kerosene tank, the dual-channel redundancy of the fairing pyrotechnics unlocking, the triple-redundant measurement of solid booster and kerosene tank pressure, the three-channel redundant unlocking of the zero-second takeoff connector, etc., are all redundant designs to improve reliability.
In addition, there is a new online fault diagnosis and adaptive reconstruction method of the servo system, which can achieve stable flight of any two electric servo mechanisms under fault.
It is reported that the reliability evaluation value of the Long Six Modification first flight rocket is 0.89. This time it has been improved to 0.912 and can reach 0.98 in the future.
The Changliu rocket has been contracted for high-density launch missions of more than 10 launches per year. It is mainly responsible for single-satellite and network launch missions of various important satellites in my country. It will strive to achieve more than 12 launches per year at the dedicated station of the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center.
