Leaked retailer lists are certainly an interesting way to get more information about upcoming hardware. A set of listings recently released by retailer PC21 and Acer Hong Kong reveal some details about the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop and RTX 5050 laptop GPUs.
First, we appear to have concrete information on the launch date of the RTX 5060 laptop GPU. According to Acer, laptops equipped with the RTX 5060 will start shipping in May. Additionally, as the leaked listing shows, the RTX5060 and RTX5050 laptop GPUs will come with 8GB VRAM, both based on the new GDDR7 specification.
This is a rather interesting development considering that RTX 5050 desktop GPUs are expected to come with GDDR6 memory, so it looks like the laptop variants of these cards will have even better memory speeds. Considering that the RTX5070 laptop GPU will also have 8GB GDDR7 video memory, it's obvious that the main differences between the RTX5050, RTX5060, and RTX5070 laptop variants will be limited to core count.
Those who need more than 8GB of video memory will have to shell out extra money for an RTX 5070Ti laptop, a model expected to come with 12GB of GDDR7 video memory on a 192-bit bus.
As for the selling price, the leaked MSI Venture Pro 16 is equipped with Core 7240HCPU, 16GB DDR5 memory, 512GB solid state drive and RTX5050 Laptop GPU. It seems to be priced at 1580 euros, which is about 1720 US dollars. Obviously, the price tag of even the lowest-end Blackwell GPU is enough to make those cash-strapped gamers jaw-dropping.
