On March 13, Reuters reported that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg held talks with Trump administration officials at the White House on Wednesday. Meta spokesman Andy Stone said Zuckerberg was continuing to hold talks with the government about U.S. technology leadership. However, he did not confirm Zuckerberg's White House visit.
Zuckerberg has continued to grow closer to Trump since he won the U.S. election last year. Not only did Meta donate $1 million to the Trump inauguration fund, Zuckerberg also had dinner with Trump at Mar-a-Lago and attended Trump's inauguration in person. He has visited the White House before, claiming to discuss advancing U.S. technology leadership overseas.
