After being exposed by CCTV’s 315 Party, @Woodpecker Home Maintenance recently issued a rectification commitment on its official Weibo, saying that the exposure of CCTV’s 315 Party was a wake-up call and that it deeply realized that in the process of pursuing scale expansion, our management was out of control, resulting in opaque charging, misleading training, chaotic service processes and other problems. Exposed behaviors such as "charging for training routines" and "substandard accessories" have seriously damaged user trust and exposed serious loopholes in the platform's management mechanism. We have never forgotten our original intentions, but management flaws prevented us from effectively restraining bad behavior, which ultimately led to today's problems. We would like to apologize again to all users.
In the rectification letter, Woodpecker announced six major rectification measures: 1. Comprehensive verification of complaint orders to protect user rights; 2. Price transparency reform to eliminate ambiguous charges; 3. Strengthen the management of maintenance engineers to eliminate misleading words; 4. Comprehensive and transparent service processes to protect users’ right to know; 5. Adjust the income structure of engineers to eliminate the "more repairs, more earnings" model; 6. Accept social supervision to ensure the thorough implementation of rectifications.
