Samsung intends to add new artificial intelligence capabilities to the three Galaxy S24 models to surpass its competitors, and the recently released Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will also provide a solid foundation in this regard. The South Korean giant is likely looking to bring to market several terms from its recently registered trademarks, with evidence suggesting those selling points are "AIPhone" and "AISmartphone."

Shortly after applying for the "SamsungGlasses" trademark earlier this month, Samsung applied for two more trademarks: "AIPhone" and "AISmartphone." The South Korean giant will reportedly introduce generative AI (GenerativeAI) to all Galaxy S24 models early next year, but there is no news yet on how this program will perform when running on the 2024 flagship series. GalaxyClub, which discovered the trademarks, also reported that Samsung is also developing other trademarks such as MagicPixel, FlexMagic and FlexMagicPixel, but did not mention their uses.

As for the "AIPhone" and "AISmartphone" trademarks, Sammobile reported that since these two trademarks are generic names, Samsung may not eventually obtain these trademarks. However, their filing shows that the company is looking to effectively market the Galaxy S24 series and give the three models upgrades over the Galaxy S23 series and competitors, starting with artificial intelligence features.

At the Exynos2400 launch conference, Samsung demonstrated through the Exynos2400 development version, a reference board that can use artificial intelligence to create text-to-image conversion. With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm's top smartphone chipset can run LLM (Large Language Model) on the device and run StableDiffusion smoothly, indicating that the hardware is ready for these tasks.

As for the products Samsung plans to launch, it may have more to do with the software part of the Galaxy S24 than the hardware.
