TSMCIt said that Kaohsiung's Wafer 22 Factory will produce the 2-nanometer process and will create more than 7,000 high-tech jobs. The 2-nanometer process is expected to be mass-produced in the second half of the year, and the clean room area of ​​Fab 22 will eventually reach 280,000 square meters.

According to reports, the total investment amount will reach NT$1.5 trillion (US$45.2 billion).

TSMC also plans to produce 2-nanometer process at Hsinchu Wafer Factory 20.
