As the long-awaited Cybertruck delivery event approaches, Tesla has made some adjustments to the event time and vehicle reservation fees, confusing potential buyers and investors who want to attend the event. According to the latest news from Cybertruck’s official account on the X platform, the delivery event will be held at the Tesla Gigafactory in Texas at 2 pm Central Time on Thursday (4 am on Friday, Beijing time). That's an hour later than an earlier announcement by a company executive.

Martin Viecha, Tesla's vice president of investor relations, had earlier said the delivery event would take place on Thursday at 1 p.m. Central Time.

The company's website also briefly showed the Cybertruck pre-order fee as $250, which would be the first price increase in four years, but it later changed back to the original $100.

Tesla did not disclose the specific number of pre-orders for this electric pickup truck. Pre-orders for the car have now passed the 2 million mark, according to an online crowdsourced data tracker.
