AMD has already confirmed that the Radeon RX 9060 series based on the new generation of RDNA 4 architecture GPU will be released in the second quarter of 2025. It targets the cost-effective mainstream market and provides high-performance/low-power consumption solutions for 1080/1440P gamers.

RX 9060 XT is expected to be released next month, AMD plans to launch it in early June

Recently, some netizens revealed that AMD plans to release the Radeon RX 9060 XT at next month’s Computex 2025 (held from May 20 to 23), and then arrange to launch it two weeks later, in early June. Similar to the situation with the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, the Radeon RX 9060 XT will also be available in 16GB and 8GB models, both equipped with Navi 44 chips, which are likely to be complete configurations, enabling all 32 computing units of the GPU, which is 2048 stream processors.

According to previous statements, the game/acceleration frequency of Radeon RX 9060 XT reaches 2620/3230MHz respectively, which is significantly higher than the 2470/2755MHz of Radeon RX 7600 XT. Some manufacturers' OC models are more radical than the public version settings, and the acceleration frequency will reach the 3.3GHz level. Although the video memory is all GDDR6, the speed has been increased from 18Gbps to 20Gbps. Generally equipped with a single 8Pin power supply interface, the power consumption of the entire card is expected to be controlled within 150W, requiring at least a 500W power supply. Some models require 550W or higher specifications. In addition, the new graphics card only provides 3 display output interfaces, instead of the common 4, which will be a combination of 1 HDMI 2.1 + 2 DP 2.1a.

Outsiders expect the price of Radeon RX 9060 XT to be higher than $300. As 2K high-brush monitors become more popular and games have increased demand for video memory capacity, more and more players are unwilling to purchase graphics cards with 8GB of video memory. Therefore, products with 12/16GB of video memory have received more attention.
