"Jurassic World 4" has released a special trailer, showing some new images and many new dinosaurs and characters appearing. The film has previously been scheduled to be released in North America on July 2, 2025, with Frank Marshall continuing to produce and Spielberg serving as executive producer.

This time it has a new storyline and cast, set within the worldview of "Jurassic Park" and "Jurassic World", telling the story of "three adults and three teenagers trapped on the island."

The timeline is set five years after the events of "Jurassic World 3". The earth's ecology has proven to be widely unsuitable for dinosaurs to survive.

The remaining dinosaurs live in isolation in an equatorial environment with a climate similar to their heyday, and the three largest creatures in that tropical biosphere hold the key to a miracle drug that could save human lives.

The film stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, Luna Brace, and David Iacono.

Gareth Edwards ("AI Creator", "Godzilla", "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story") directs, and "Jurassic Park 1 and 2" screenwriter David Cape writes the script.
