The Microsatellite Innovation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences revealed that,my country's light cargo spacecraft will be unveiled to the public for the first time.The specific time is the upcoming tenth "China Space Day (April 24)", when the 1:1 model of the light boat cargo spacecraft will be displayed at the aerospace science exhibition held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.
The cargo spacecraft is called the "space express brother". Compared with the Tianzhou, the Qingzhou is smaller, lighter and cheaper.
The spacecraft weighs about 5 tons and has a transportation weight of more than 1.8 tons. It adopts an integrated single-cabin configuration and has an internal space volume of 27 cubic meters. It can transport astronauts’ living supplies, scientific experiment equipment, scientific loads, etc.
A major feature of the light boat is "cold chain transportation". It can be equipped with up to 300 liters of cold chain, so astronauts can eat fresher fruits and vegetables.
In addition, the "Qingzhou" cargo spacecraft is also intelligent and flexible. It can carry various test payloads and support manned or unmanned space science payloads and a variety of on-orbit tests.
