Nintendo confirmed with local distributors that the Switch 2 will not be released in Central America and the Caribbean this year.According to Teletica, Nintendo held a meeting with local dealers yesterday and confirmed that its next-generation console Switch 2 (as well as games and peripherals) will not be launched in these two regions this year.

Nintendo reportedly decided to delay the launch of the console because the market in Central America and the Caribbean was too small to warrant an official launch.
Therefore, players in these two regions have no choice but to import from the United States or other regions, and the import price is much higher than the original price of approximately US$610 in these two regions.
Given the strong demand for Switch 2, it will be difficult for players who are not in the official release area of Switch 2 to get it, unless these people are willing to spend more money. While the console costs slightly more than most people expected, its rich feature set and strong starting lineup make it an extremely attractive proposition.
