NVIDIA and Foxconn Hon Hai Technology Group announced today that they will deepen their long-term partnership and work with the Taiwanese government to build an AI factory supercomputer that provides researchers, startups and industries with state-of-the-art NVIDIA Blackwell infrastructure.

Foxconn will provide AI infrastructure as an NVIDIA cloud partner through its subsidiary Big Innovation Company. The AI factory will be equipped with 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, significantly expanding the availability of AI computing and helping Taiwanese researchers and enterprises innovate. Taiwan's National Science and Technology Commission will use the supercomputers of large innovation companies to provide AI cloud computing resources to Taiwan's technology ecosystem and accelerate the development and application of AI in various fields.
TSMC researchers plan to use the system to advance their research and development, which will improve performance by orders of magnitude compared to previous generation systems.
The Big Innovation Cloud AI Factory will feature NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra systems, including NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 rack-mounted solutions with NVIDIA NVLink, NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand, and NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking.
In addition to becoming an NVIDIA Cloud partner, Big Innovation Cloud also plans to join the NVIDIA DGX Cloud Lepton Market, which was announced separately today. This will provide a variety of enterprises, ranging from start-ups and research institutions to established industry leaders, with convenient access to advanced GPU resources, further accelerating AI development and deployment in Taiwan. The system is also expected to accelerate the work of startups and developers by providing computing power through the NVIDIA Startup Acceleration Program and the NVIDIA Deep Learning Academy.

Foxconn will use the big innovation company's artificial intelligence supercomputers to accelerate automation and efficiency in its three core pillars - smart cities, electric vehicles and manufacturing. Its vision is to connect industries, citizens and government organizations to accelerate economic growth with artificial intelligence.
In the field of smart cities, artificial intelligence factories will help optimize interconnected transportation systems and other civilian resources, thereby improving the quality of life of Taiwanese people. In the field of smart electric vehicles, this infrastructure will support advanced driver assistance systems and safety. In the manufacturing sector, AI-driven analytics, automation and digital twin technologies will streamline operational processes and accelerate product iterations.
