If you're having trouble using Google services right now, you're not alone, as a partial outage appears to be affecting many of the company's various apps and services. As of approximately 2:25 PM ET/11:25 AM PT, many Google services appear to be experiencing a partial outage. Reports are mounting that Google Home/Nest, Cloud, Firebase, and many other systems appear to be affected.
DownDetector has reported outages for Google.com, Cloud, Nest, Meet, Drive, Maps, YouTube, Gmail, and Gemini. Aside from the intermittent Nest/Home outage, we are currently unaware of other issues, but there are widespread reports on social media of outages related to Google Cloud that impact other online services. At the same time, Amazon Web Services was also partially down, and Cloudflare also appeared to be partially down.

Google has not yet shown these outages through its individual status dashboard pages for Workspace, Cloud, or Search. Cloudflare has confirmed some ongoing issues that began within the past hour.
About two hours later, as DownDetector reports decreased, Google's services appeared to be largely back to normal. The company also acknowledged that both Workspace and Cloud products experienced outages, with Meet being the only Workspace product affected. However, "multiple" products on Google Cloud are experiencing issues, but as of 12:41 PM PT, Google has identified the "root cause."
AWS has not confirmed any outages, while Cloudflare said its services are being restored.
