According to CCTV and news reports,my country's independently developed large-scale amphibious aircraft AG600 "Kunlong" recently completed a high-plateau test flight mission at Qinghai Huatugou Airport.Plateau airports refer to airports with an altitude higher than 1,500 meters.Among them, those within the range of 1500 to 2438 meters are general plateau airports, and those between 2438 meters and above are high plateau airports.

Plateau airports have thin air, complex terrain, and changeable weather conditions, which place higher requirements on aircraft performance and operational support capabilities.
The Qinghai Huatugou Airport where the test flight took place is more than 2,900 meters above sea level and is located in the northwest of the Qaidam Basin.
The AG600 "Kunlong" test flight covered typical operating scenarios at high-altitude airports, and systematically verified the aircraft's takeoff performance, climb performance, and landing performance under complex weather conditions.

It is worth mentioning that the AG600 "Kunlong" has recently been awarded a production license by the Civil Aviation Administration of China in Zhuhai, Guangdong, and has officially entered the mass production stage.
According to reports, the AG600 plans to deliver the first three aircraft within this year.

The AG600 is a large-scale special-purpose civil aircraft independently developed by my country to meet the urgent needs of forest fire fighting and water rescue. It is a major aviation equipment urgently needed for the construction of the national emergency rescue system.
It is equipped with 4 turboprop-6 turboprop engines, has a maximum take-off weight of 49 tons, a maximum range of more than 4,500 kilometers, a wingspan of 38.8 meters, a cruising speed of 480 kilometers per hour, and a rescue radius of 864 nautical miles (1,600 kilometers).
It can draw 12 tons of water in 20 seconds, carry 50 people in distress, and has a wave resistance height of 2.0 meters.
