Microsoft released the June update (KB5060842) for Windows 11 24H2, but later found that the anti-cheating mechanism "Easy Anti-Cheat" of some games such as "Fortnite" would malfunction, causing players' computers to frequently restart when starting the game, so it suspended the push of the update.
Microsoft then released the KB5063060 update in an attempt to replace the KB5060842 that caused the problem before. As a result, after the KB5063060 update was released, the problem not only was not solved, but became worse.
Many users reported that they encountered various problems during the installation process of the KB5063060 update. Some users said that the update got stuck halfway through downloading, while others found that the computer could not start normally after the installation was completed.Various error codes will be displayed, such as 0x800f0922, 0x80070002, etc.

Even if the update is successfully installed, the problem is far from over. Some players have found that "Fortnite" will still freeze, and games such as "Counter-Strike" will also cause the computer to completely freeze and become unresponsive.
In addition to gaming issues, users have reported that the taskbar will crash when the computer wakes from sleep mode after the update, external monitors will have strange color issues when connected via HDMI, and even Bluetooth devices will not work properly.
One user complained: "My Bluetooth device has to be re-paired every time I turn it on. This update is a Bluetooth killer."
Currently, affected users can only solve the problem by uninstalling the update. Microsoft also recommends that users back up important data before installing the update, just in case.
