The movie "F1: Furious Speed" co-produced by Apple and Warner was officially released today in mainland China and North America.This is an original movie that Apple has invested heavily in. It even debuted as the opening short film at the WWDC 2025 Global Developers Conference and will be released in mainland China on June 27.
Apple CEO Cook recently issued a special post recommending this movie to Chinese audiences. He has also previously said that this is one of the most exciting and energetic movies he has ever seen.
The film stars Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, and also stars Lewis Hamilton, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Javier Bardem and others.
Joseph Kosinski ("Top Gun 2", "Tron: Legacy") directs and reunites with many of his "Top Gun 2" partners, including screenwriter Elon Krueger and producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Orman.
Condon plays the team's technical director, overseeing the design and development of the complex race car.

The plot tells the story of a retired driver (Pete) who comes back as a mentor to assist a young driver (Idris) and teams up with him to fight for honors on the track for the last time.
During the filming of the film, a large number of scenes were shot during the F1 race week, and even prop cars were driven on the track for a time, making fans look forward to it very much.
According to reports, due to the increase in a large number of real shots, the cost of the film soared from US$130 million to nearly US$300 million.
