According to reports, five current and former U.S. officials revealed that U.S. intelligence agencies recently assessed that the U.S. attack on Iran's nuclear facilities basically destroyed the Fordow nuclear facility, while the other two nuclear facilities at Natanz and Isfahan were only partially damaged.

According to assessments, Iran could resume nuclear enrichment activities at the two damaged facilities within months.

The U.S. government has informed some lawmakers, Pentagon officials and allied governments of this assessment.

The United States and Israel have discussed whether another attack on the two damaged facilities would be necessary if Iran did not participate in negotiations or wanted to rebuild the facilities, a current and former U.S. official said.

White House spokesperson Anna Kelly said in a statement: "As the President said and experts have confirmed, Operation Midnight Hammer completely destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities."

Pentagon chief spokesman Sean Parnell said, "Iran's nuclear facilities at Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz have been completely destroyed. There is no doubt about that."
