Recently, some netizens posted that the Tiedaxin 5000mAh simple corded power bank (hybrid) (model number M17) purchased from Miniso has a polygonal 3C logo. The picture posted by the netizen shows that the outer oval of the 3C logo on this power bank has changed to an approximate octagon, and the product purchase details clearly indicate "3C certification". "I couldn't take it through the airport security check. The staff said the circle was a polygon, not a real circle. The packaging said it could be boarded."

Some netizens in the comment area questioned, "Power banks without 3C certification have long been removed from the shelves." Some netizens said that the 3C mark on the same style power bank they bought last year was normal. Some netizens said that after buying a power bank from Miniso, they opened it at home and found that there was a problem with the 3C icon. "After checking, I found that the 3C certification of several models had been cancelled."
On July 19, a reporter from Economic View Live tried to get in touch with the netizen who posted the message, but as of press time, the other party had not yet responded.
Subsequently, the reporter searched for "Tiedaxin" in a Minso store on a food delivery platform and found that several "Tiedaxin" power banks sold in the store were marked with 3C certification. The product details of the same Tiedaxin M17 power bank posted by netizens were also marked as "can be used on airplanes" and provided with a "China National Compulsory Product Certification Certificate."
A reporter from Economic View Live inquired about the power bank manufacturer Guangdong Tiedaxin Industrial Co., Ltd. at the China Quality Certification Center and found that the company’s 3C certification for the M17 power bank had been cancelled. After scanning the "China National Compulsory Product Certification Certificate" QR code provided by the product, the 3C certification certificate of the product can be found at the Guangzhou Saibao Certification Center. According to Jiangnan Metropolis Daily, it can be confirmed in the compulsory product certification business column on the official website of the National Certification and Accreditation Administration that Guangzhou Saibao Certification Center Service Co., Ltd. is a legal certification agency.
On July 19, a reporter from Economic View Live called Miniso’s customer service phone number. The staff said that the digital products currently sold in the store meet national requirements, and all products that meet 3C certification requirements have passed certification. As for why the polygonal 3C certification mark appeared, the staff said that they would verify the relevant situation.
