According to Bloomberg’s Mark GurmanAccording to reports, Apple’s next-generation iPad Pro model will feature two front-facing cameras. Gurman on today's Power OnThe newsletter states that upcoming iPad Pro models powered by the M5 chip will feature portrait and landscape cameras, so users don't have to worry about the device's orientation when taking photos and making video calls.

Current iPad Pro models with the M4 chip feature a single front-facing camera designed for use in landscape orientation. And Face ID already works in any orientation of the iPad Pro.
After last year's upgrade to an OLED display and a slimmer design, the iPad Pro may get relatively minor upgrades this year. Currently, the main rumored changes include an M5 chip and dual front-facing cameras.
Last year, Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that iPad Pro models equipped with M5 chips will be mass-produced in the second half of 2025. The current iPad Pro model with the M4 chip launches in May 2024, and Apple typically updates the iPad Pro about every 18 months, so the next model could be released in September or October.
