China Internet Network Information Center released the 56th "Statistical Report on China's Internet Development Status" in Beijing on July 21. The report shows that as of June 2025, the number of Internet users in my country has reached 1.123 billion, and the Internet penetration rate has reached 79.7%.
According to the report, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, my country's Internet construction has made remarkable achievements. The layout of new information infrastructure has been accelerated, and basic Internet resources have continued to be enriched, providing solid support for the popularization of the Internet and the development of the digital economy. Internet inclusiveness is further promoted, and development results are shared by senior citizens and rural groups.
