Ubisoft previously announced that Charlie Guillemot, the son of Ubisoft founder and CEO Yves Guillemot, will serve as co-CEO of Ubisoft's Tencent joint venture with Christophe Derennes, focusing on core series such as "Assassin's Creed", "Far Cry" and "Rainbow Six".

Recently, Yves Guillermotte sent an internal email talking about cooperation and structural transformation with Tencent. He said that this subsidiary is part of Ubisoft's restructuring plan. It marks the beginning of a new future and will reconnect the core characteristics of Ubisoft's truly unique enterprise. The new structure aims to give the team more autonomy and the ability to quickly adjust direction, improve existing mechanisms, and simplify operational processes so that the team can always meet the needs of players and focus on creating high-quality games.

Ubisoft emphasized that Tencent will not participate in the daily operations of the subsidiary, but will provide suggestions in its development, and Charlie Guillermotte and Christophe Drenas have full decision-making power and can decide whether to listen to Tencent's suggestions.
