Today, Fortune Chinese released the 2025 Fortune China 500 ranking. The list shows,State Grid Corporation of China topped the list with revenue of US$548.4 billion, followed by PetroChina and Sinopec in second and third place respectively.Ranking fourth is China State Construction Group, and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China ranks fifth.
In terms of profitability,Among the ten most profitable companies on the list, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China ranks first.
In addition to the five commercial banks and PetroChina, four private companies including TSMC, Tencent, Alibaba Group, and Ping An also entered the top ten in the profit list.
Among them, TSMC ranked fourth on the profit list with a net profit of US$36.087 billion;Tencent's net profit in 2024 will increase by more than 65% year-on-year, ranking sixth on the profit list with a net profit of more than 26.9 billion US dollars.
Alibaba Group and Ping An ranked 9th and 10th on the profit list respectively.
The total profits of these ten companies last year were approximately US$311.5 billion, accounting for approximately 41% of the total profits of the companies on the list.
