The Zhejiang Traffic Police issued a document stating that a traffic accident occurred on the Zhejiang G15 Shenhai Expressway recently due to over-reliance on intelligent assisted driving.Driver Zhang drove a new car that he had just bought for more than ten days on the highway for the first time., because of his credulous trust in the vehicle's assisted driving function, he hit a water horse on a construction section. Fortunately, no casualties were caused.

It is understood that the incident occurred at 4:52 a.m. on July 4. Zhang drove home from Ningbo. He felt tired from driving all night, so he turned on the vehicle's intelligent assisted driving function. I thought it was "quite useful", so I relaxed my vigilance while driving at high speed.

When the vehicle drove to the construction diversion section in the direction of Wenzhou, the assisted driving system failed to recognize the water horse set up in the construction area, and the vehicle did not change direction in time and crashed directly into the roadblock.
