The well-known overseas automotive media Autoevolution has exposed a set of road test photos and key interior pictures of BMW’s new X5.The most eye-catching one is the panoramic display screen. The display occupies most of the space above the dashboard area and almost covers the long strip below the windshield.

Even more controversial is the elimination of its iconic iDrive central control knob, instead relying more on touch screen operation and advanced voice control systems. The steering wheel also adopts a new design, equipped with touch buttons with tactile feedback, while the red 12 o'clock mark and M logo stitching clearly imply that the test car captured this time is an M performance model.

The overall cockpit follows the design concept of BMW's future electrified model "Neue Klasse". The core of the central control area is a large 17.9-inch floating touch screen. Only a few physical buttons such as the rotary volume controller and emergency flash button remain below. The style is extremely simple.

In terms of appearance, despite being heavily camouflaged, the front profile of the test car has clearly revealed the design language of the BMW "Neue Klasse" concept car. It is worth noting that the car is equipped with a bilateral exhaust system with four outlets and a charging port on the driver's side front fender.
