iPhone 16 sales achieved "strong double-digit growth" compared to iPhone 15. Cook said the iPhone 16 models are especially popular with existing iPhone users who are upgrading to the new models. Cook's announcement covered the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, but he did not specify which devices were best-selling.
Apple's Mac sales also grew thanks to the launch of the M4 Mac series, but iPad sales and sales in the wearables, home and accessories categories declined.
Cook said the company is making "good progress on a more personalized Siri" based on Apple Intelligence, and reiterated that the features will be available next year.
"We're making good progress on making Siri more personal, and as we've said before, we expect to release these features next year," Cook said.

Apple first announced personalized Siri features during its WWDC 2024 keynote, but announced in March that the features had been delayed. New features will include better understanding of users’ personal context, screen awareness and deeper per-app control. For example, Apple showed an iPhone user asking Siri about his mother's flight and lunch reservation plans based on information from the Mail and Messages apps.
Apple is facing multiple class-action lawsuits due to delayed feature releases.
