Recently, subsidies in the food delivery industry have attracted widespread attention from the society. Many industry associations and merchants have expressed their hope to stop the involution of subsidy promotions such as "0 yuan purchases", build a good industry ecology, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win development for all parties. We hereby commit to:
1. Standardize subsidy behavior. Jingdong Waimai will continue to adhere to its anti-involution stance, resolutely put an end to unfair competition, resist vicious subsidies such as "zero yuan purchases", and will never use order volume to reflect its market position or create market bubbles. Establish a simple and transparent subsidy mechanism, disclose marketing activity information to merchants and consumers in accordance with the law, and merchants can operate independently and participate in promotional activities.
2. Resist vicious competition. By creating differentiated specialty dishes, improving service quality, etc., we adhere to quality positioning, build core competitiveness through technological empowerment, supply chain innovation, etc., use products, prices, and services to win user reputation, create long-term value, and promote the industry from "comparing subsidies" to "comparing quality" and "comparing services."
3. Improve service quality. Adhere to the bottom line of food safety, adhere to the bottom line of integrity management, and continue to create a quality consumer experience. Actively promote the anti-food waste work, the store home page announcement embeds the slogan "Please order in moderation, environmentally friendly and healthy", and also adds "order in moderation" prompts on the ordering, settlement, and order pages to form a full-link reminder to prevent excessive ordering.
4. Promote mutual benefit and win-win results. Provide merchants with commission incentives, advertising incentives, traffic support, delivery fee subsidies, hot product operations, exclusive after-sales and other services to help good merchants run better; optimize rider protection and enhance the sense of professional dignity and gain for takeaway riders. Together, we will build a virtuous ecosystem and positive cycle for food delivery that is win-win for consumers, merchants, riders, and platforms.
