On November 28, Heytea launched a new product called "Buddha's Joy" tea latte, which was accompanied by three specially designed cups and refrigerator magnets, with the themes of the Silent Bodhisattva, the Happy Arhat and the Crouching Tiger Arhat respectively. This product is sold in major stores and online platforms. It is reported that this is a joint event between HeyTea and the China Ceramics Museum in Jingdezhen, and it pays tribute to the work "Underglaze Colored Eighteen Arhat Statue" by master Zeng Longsheng. However, the "Foxi" tea latte has been removed from the Heytea ordering app "Hiytea GO".

Some media reported that staff of the Shenzhen Municipal Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau reported to the media that the bureau interviewed Heytea Company on December 1, and the company removed the product from shelves on December 3, while conducting inspections on the relevant situation. After consultation and research by the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Department, market supervision and other departments, it was found that Heytea was actually a "sideline". "A rectification report was sent to us on Friday night, and all products were removed from the shelves on December 3."

As of press time, the promotional content on the "Buddha" tea latte on Heytea's WeChat public account has not been deleted.
