On August 4, at Qingyang Airport in Gansu Province, the MA-60 civilian search and rescue aircraft developed by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China successfully completed a test flight of delivering rescue items in the air. At 10:02 a.m., the MA-60 civilian search and rescue aircraft took off smoothly.
After passing the field flight verification, the aircraft successfully arrived in the predetermined airspace. At the extremely challenging ultra-low altitude of 100 meters and at a speed of 125-145 knots, the cabin door opened smoothly and safely, and the simulated rescue supplies were perfectly delivered, and the supplies accurately landed in the predetermined target area.

Real-time flight data is clearly displayed:The door opening and closing mechanism operates stably and reliably, the mission system is coordinated and efficient, and the delivery trajectory is in line with expectations.
This test flight comprehensively verified the aircraft's control response characteristics, material delivery trajectory, aerodynamic performance, and crew collaborative operation process under various complex working conditions. This accumulated valuable data for subsequent actual combat airdrop drills at sea.

The MA-60 civil search and rescue aircraft transferred to Qingyang, Gansu Province on July 24. The XAC civil aircraft test flight team of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China intensively carried out difficult verification in multiple subjects, and successively completed a series of basic flight tests including airspace, navigation, stall warning verification, and single-engine failure emergency response.
From July 28 to 31, the team worked hard on the functional test flight of the mission system and the stability verification of the opening and closing doors in the air. Through continuous high-intensity test flights, they finally ensured that the mission system functions are complete and the performance indicators fully meet the design requirements.
In the future, the MA-60 civilian search and rescue aircraft will continue to improve the response speed and coverage of my country's maritime search and rescue, and promote the construction of my country's maritime emergency system and the "land, sea, air and space" integrated water transportation safety guarantee system.
