Intel said it will continue to invest billions of dollars in domestic semiconductor research and development and manufacturing in the United States.

Trump previously called on Intel's CEO to resign, saying he had a conflict of interest. "The CEO of Intel has a serious conflict of interest and must resign, immediately," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

As of press time, Intel's U.S. stocks were up 0.40% after hours.
