Microsoft recently announced a major update. Its Bing Image Creator platform now seamlessly integrates OpenAI's latest image generation model GPT-4o and is free to users.Earlier this year, OpenAI added image generation capabilities to GPT-4o. This means users no longer need to rely on stand-alone models such as DALL-E. With a strong knowledge base and excellent contextual understanding, GPT-4o performs outstandingly in parsing user instructions and accurately restoring text descriptions into images.
Users can now not only modify uploaded images in Bing Image Creator, but also create new visual works inspired by these images. The images generated by GPT-4o are rich in detail and creative, but due to its complexity, the generation speed is slightly slower than that of DALL-E 3.
In order to meet different needs, Bing Image Creator still retains the old DALL-E 3 model for users to switch freely. The platform continues to provide free services, and users can enjoy 15 quick quotas per month. After exceeding the limit, users can choose to consume 10 Microsoft Rewards points for quick generation, or use unlimited standard speed generation of images.
The updated platform is extremely convenient to access. Users can use it through the bing.com/create website, the Bing mobile app, or by directly entering prompt words in the Bing search box and Edge browser address bar. These improvements will bring a richer and more personalized image creation experience.
