According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology,Model 3+ uses a 78.4kWh ternary lithium battery pack with a pure electric range of 830/800km, which is the longest range in the history of Model 3.
In addition to the increase in battery life, the power has also been upgraded. The vehicle uses a 3D6 rear-drive motor with a maximum power of 225kW, which is 31kW more than the current rear-drive model.
Previous reports showed that the arrival of the Model 3+ model,It means that Tesla China will "restore" the longest-lasting version of Model 3, which is priced at around 270,000 yuan.
In August 2019, Tesla removed the long-range rear-drive version of Model 3 from the domestic shelves. As for why it was removed from the shelves, the official did not mention it. Previously, the maximum cruising range of this model under comprehensive operating conditions exceeded 600km.
It can be expected that after the arrival of the Model 3+, due to the improved battery life, the new car will also compete more fiercely with domestic electric cars such as Xiaomi SU7 and Xpeng P7+.
