Ebuyer, the UK's second largest PC retailer, is facing the crisis of bankruptcy, with employees being sent home early without warning.Urban Logistics Acquisitions 6 Limited, the lessor of the space leased by Ebuyer, submitted a liquidation application to the court on August 1, which means that Ebuyer may be forced to close down and liquidate its assets due to its inability to repay its debts.

Ebuyer was founded in 2000 and was owned by The West Retail Group from 2004 to 2023. In 2023, Mark Reed and Richard Marsden bought it in an attempt to expand its market share.
But it now appears that this plan has failed to materialize, and the company is in financial trouble, struggling to pay even basic bills.
This is the second recent collapse of a large PC dealer in the UK. BOX also closed last year, but was later reopened after a new owner took over.
Ebuyer may still have hope of survival, but if it cannot solve its cash flow problem and pay off its debt soon, this 25-year-old retailer may really be coming to an end.Overclockers UK and Scan UK will then become the UK's major PC parts retailers.
