Jeff Pu, chief analyst at investment institution GF Securities, said that all iPhone 17 models will increase in price, including in the United States. This is consistent with the opinions of many analysts in recent times. At present, the iPhone 17 price increase has basically become a foregone conclusion.

The main reason for the possible price increase of iPhone 17 is tariffs, and Wall Street analysts predict that the price of iPhone 17 series models may be $50 to $100 higher than the corresponding iPhone 16 models.

Even if prices do rise, though, Apple may come up with clever ways to deal with the situation, such as increasing the iPhone 17 Pro's minimum storage capacity from 128GB to 256GB.

This would bring the Pro model in line with the Pro Max model, which has been selling with a starting storage capacity of 256GB for several years.

This year there are still four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

According to reports, all iPhone 17 series models will be equipped with an upgraded 24-megapixel front camera, and the lens will be upgraded from five-piece to six-piece; they will be equipped with vapor chamber heat sinks to improve thermal performance; support wireless charging up to 25W, and are compatible with the next generation Qi 2.2 wireless charging standard.

The most critical upgrade is that the iPhone 17 series will be equipped with ProMotion technology as standard for the first time, and the standard version can also use 120Hz high refresh rate, which is an epic upgrade.

The details are as follows:

iPhone 17 Air:The new ultra-thin model, with a thickness of only 5.5 mm, is Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever; equipped with a 6.6-inch display; a single-lens 48-megapixel rear camera; equipped with an A19 chip; the only model with a titanium body; and equipped with 12GB of running memory.

iPhone 17:Equipped with a 6.27-inch display, the same screen size as the current iPhone 16 Pro; a rear dual-camera system (main camera + ultra-wide angle), similar in appearance to the iPhone 16; made of aluminum alloy; equipped with an A19 chip; equipped with 8GB of running memory.
