Recently, Bitauto released the list of the Top 40 domestic car models sold in July. The list shows,The penetration rate of new energy vehicles in China continues to increase. Among the top ten sales rankings, there are only two pure gasoline vehicles left, and the rest are new energy vehicles.

Specifically, Geely Star hopes to retain the top spot in domestic new car sales.A total of 44,274 units were sold in July, making it the only model in China with sales exceeding the 40,000 mark.
The reason why Geely Xingyuan has become the best-selling model is closely related to its strong cost performance. As a small pure electric SUV, the starting price of Xingyuan is only 68,800 yuan, and its appearance is a big plus for users.
In addition, Xingyuan is equipped with a 14.6-inch car and Flyme Auto car system, and the cockpit's intelligent performance is beyond the level. It is equipped with a drive motor of up to 85kW and has a range of up to 410km. Compared with Wuling Bingo, BYD Dolphin and other models of the same level, it has obvious advantages in size, configuration and price.
Second on the list is BYD Qin Plus New Energy, with sales of 31,237 units. An A-class new energy sedan, the starting price directly reaches 79,800 yuan, which also eclipses the cost performance of joint venture fuel vehicles.
Tesla Model Y ranks third on the list. As the best-selling model of domestic high-end electric vehicles, 30,766 units were sold in July. There is currently no model that can challenge Model Y's status. but,After the subsequent production capacity of Xiaomi YU7 is increased, how many Model Y orders it can grab will depend on sales volume.
Wuling Hongguang MINI EV ranked fourth, with sales of 26,337 units in July. As the former sales leader, Hongguang MINI EV has encountered huge competition as other manufacturers have successively launched similar models and continued to lower prices. However, relying on its reputation and price advantages, Hongguang MINI EV can still maintain its first position in the market segment.
The fifth place is the Nissan Sylphy, which is also the model with the highest sales volume of pure gasoline vehicles in China, with sales of 26,337 units in July. The sales of Sylphy can also be seen from the domestic automobile market's gradual transformation of pure oil vehicles into new energy sources.
Another pure petrol vehicle in the top ten is the Volkswagen Lavida, with sales of 23,081 units in July, ranking eighth on the list.
