According to CCTV News, it was learned on August 11, local time, that a plane collision occurred at Kalispell Airport in Montana, USA. Preliminary reports indicate that a small aircraft broke down while landing on the runway.It then veered off the runway and collided with another aircraft on the taxiway, causing a fire and billowing smoke.

Witnesses at the scene said a plane approaching from the south crashed at the end of the runway and hit another plane.

According to Kalispell Police Chief Jordan Venezio and the Federal Aviation Administration,The single-engine Socata TBM 700 turboprop aircraft was carrying four people and attempted to land at Kalispell Municipal Airport about 2 p.m.

The crash occurred during landing and hit another small plane parked on the taxiway of the airport. Fortunately, there was no one inside the plane that was hit. The incident sparked a fire that spread to a grassy area and was eventually extinguished, with multiple aircraft involved.

The pilot and three passengers on the crashed plane successfully evacuated themselves after the plane stopped. Two passengers were slightly injured and received treatment at the airport.

FAA records show the plane was manufactured in 2011 and belongs to Meter Sky LLC of Pullman, Washington.
