Microsoft recently reminded users thatWindows 10 will end support in two months, and all versions of Windows 10 (including Home, Pro, Enterprise, Education, and IoT Enterprise) will end support on October 14.On the same day, Windows 10 2015 LTSB and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 2015 will also end extended support.
After the end of the service, Microsoft will no longer provide security vulnerability fixes or technical assistance for Windows 10. Microsoft noted: "The October 2025 monthly security update will be the last update for these versions. After this date, devices running these versions will no longer receive monthly security and preview updates that contain protection against the latest security threats."

Microsoft recommends that Windows 10 users who want to continue to receive necessary security updates and bug fixes upgrade their eligible devices to Windows 11.
For users who want to continue using Windows 10, Microsoft offers the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program. Business users will pay $61 per device per year, and home users will pay $30.
In addition, consumers who enable Windows Backup to sync data to the cloud or use Microsoft Rewards points can join the program for free.
