It is reported that the E20 is a tilt-rotor domestically produced 5-seat manned electric aircraft independently developed by Shanghai Shide Technology Co., Ltd.
The aircraft is a tilt-rotor configuration with a maximum designed range of 200 kilometers, a cruising speed of 260 kilometers per hour, and a maximum speed of 320 kilometers per hour.
It uses a large-diameter, low-speed 5-blade propeller to significantly reduce flight noise. The cruise volume is 40 decibels, bringing a quiet and comfortable flight experience.
As a purely electric-driven aircraft, it adopts motor and electrified architecture design to simplify power transmission and make flying more convenient and safer.
The most important thing is that it adopts an 800V high-voltage architecture and is compatible with electric vehicle charging piles. The energy replenishment method is very simple. It only takes 20 minutes to charge the battery from 20% to 85%, and the operation efficiency is high.
At the beginning of this month, Shide Technology officially started construction of its first E20 eVTOL intelligent manufacturing base in Wanjun District, Wuhu City, Anhui Province. The first phase of the project covers an area of 70 acres. The project will be equipped with the world's leading digital manufacturing and testing equipment. After completion, it will have two complete eVTOL assembly lines with an annual production capacity of 200 units.
