The third batch of national trade-in funds has been released. Starting from August 26, Taobao and Tmall will be the first to start collecting the items. At present, consumers in many provinces and cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Guangdong can enter the national subsidy area and receive relevant subsidies through the Taobao APP homepage or by searching for "national subsidies."
The scope of national subsidies has been expanded again this year. It is the beginning of the school season. Smart lights, study desks, chairs, and learning machines are included in the trade-in subsidy range for the first time, with a maximum subsidy of 20%. At the same time, 3C digital products such as mobile phones, tablets, and smart watches/bracelets with a unit price of less than 6,000 yuan can enjoy a 15% subsidy, with a maximum discount of 500 yuan. From August 25th to 31st, student parties can also enjoy additional educational discounts on Tmall. The double subsidy is up to 4,000 yuan off, and the overall discount is as low as 50% off.
In addition to the new categories, consumers who currently use state subsidies to purchase home appliances and home decorations can enjoy up to 20% subsidy for energy efficiency/water efficiency products of level one and above, 15% subsidy for level two energy efficiency/water efficiency products, and up to 30% subsidy for home aging-friendly renovation products.
Up to now, more than 1,600 categories, more than 3,000 brands, and 200,000 products have been launched on Taobao Tmall, and an average of more than 150 million people visit the national supplement area every day.
In addition to national subsidies, many provinces and cities such as Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Anhui, and Shanghai issue local consumption subsidies on Taobao and Tmall. Hangzhou provides education subsidies, and consumers can enjoy a 15% discount when buying repeaters, reading pens, etc.; Nanjing provides a 10% subsidy to purchase all categories of home appliances, furniture, and 3C digital products; Guangdong Tianhe, in addition to home appliances and home decoration, has added sports and outdoor categories with a 10% subsidy.
