According to statistics from third-party company @WeAreCircana, the Nintendo Switch 2 console has sold more than 2 million units in the United States. This means that the Nintendo Switch 2 has sold 2 million units in the United States in just two months since its release on June 5, surpassing the sales volume of the original Switch in the same period by 75%.
IGN reported that the Switch 2’s strong performance in July pushed U.S. hardware spending to $384 million—the highest July record since 2008—according to data from Circana analyst Mat Piscatella.
Switch 2 is not only the sales champion in July, but also the game console with the largest sales and revenue since 2025, surpassing PS5.
