According to news on August 28, Haier Group Corporation (Haier Group)'s subsidiary Cartech Holding Company recently officially announced that it has successfully completed its strategic investmentcar home(NYSE: ATHM; HKEx: 2518) transaction closing and board reorganization.
This is an important milestone for Haier to deepen the ecological layout of the automobile industry.Autohome has officially become a new member of Haier’s automotive industry ecosystem.As mentioned in the previous announcement, Haier Group, through its subsidiary Catachi Holdings, purchased the shares for a total price of approximatelyUS$1.8 billionAcquired approximately 43.0% of the shares of Autohome held by Yun Chen Capital Cayman, a subsidiary of Ping An, China (based on the outstanding shares of Autohome as of June 30, 2025), and became the controlling shareholder of Autohome. Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. of China (Ping An Property & Casualty) will continue to be one of the major shareholders of Autohome, indirectly holding approximately 5.1% of the shares in Autohome through Yunchen Capital, and retaining a board seat.

Relying on Cartech's deep offline service network and digital operation capabilities across the country, Haier will fully support Autohome, and with user experience as the core, jointly create a new paradigm of a travel platform that integrates "content + transaction + service" and deeply integrates online and offline, comprehensively improve the user experience in all aspects of car viewing, buying a car, using a car, and changing cars, and achieve a seamless connection from content access, transaction conversion to service closed loop.
