The Walt Disney Company on Wednesday launched a beta version of its Disney+ streaming service, which includes movies and TV shows from Hulu. Subscribers to both services can watch Hulu shows like "Pam & Tommy" and "Only Murders in the Building" by clicking on a tile in the Disney+ service. The Disney+ service already includes areas for Disney brands such as "Star Wars," "Pixar" and "National Geographic."

Disney plans to launch the comprehensive service more broadly in March. The company believes that having the two services on one app will make the show more accessible to fans and more likely to stick with the product.

Subscribers still have the option of using the Disney+ and Hulu apps separately. The ad-supported version costs $10 per month, and the ad-free version costs $20 per month.

Disney will acquire Comcast's one-third stake in Hulu. The two companies have launched an evaluation process that will last until next year. Under the previous agreement, Comcast and Disney agreed that Hulu's total value would be no less than $27.5 billion.

In its latest financial report released in November, Disney reiterated its plan to achieve profitability in its streaming business next year.
